Why Orchids? Even as a child they fascinated me. Maybe it's the special shape of their petals which are unique in nature. Their sepals form an equilateral triangle. Additionally they are monosymmetrical, which means they have similar halves on a single plane. Or is it their beauty, their special colors and the infinite variety of this plant? Whatever it is, I'm addicted to orchids. So it was clear that I would name this serial after my passion.

About the author

J. B. Wind was born in 1973 in Leoben and lives in the south of Vienna in Austria.
She writes novels for young people and adults (Thrillers, Crime-Stories, Fantasy stories, Mystery stories) Screenplays, plays, reviews and short texts. She has had numerous publications of short stories, reviews and poems in literary magazines, newspapers, anthologies and magazines;
She is a member of the Murder Sisters, the Austrian Crime Writers, the Austrian Female Crime Writers, Cultural Network Lower Austria, IG Authors;
